Thomas voeckler to tour down under before he's gone As they do every spring tour they'll be headed to New Zealand and Australia too. A day earlier the duo was on a flight from Perth to New York for an evening out. But they were in town to attend the US International Women's Soccer League (USWSL) All-Star Weekend in Miami to see their friend and former Australian World Cup squad captain, Christine Sinclair. Christine Sinclair is part of the team which beat out New Zealand for the Australian Women's Soccer team's spot on the U-20 World Cup team. This time around the pair will be on a business trip and have been given the rare chance to meet and chat with fans. SINGLE PLAYER With a team full of talented young players, the USWSL isn't the place to be for any of the more established players especially in the short term. But despite this, the team that has done the best job for Sinclair has been the Young Stars. They've also managed to land several good players in the process, like Abby Wambach, Mia Hamm and Ashley Lawrence. And, as we discussed on Fox Sports 1 on Monday night, they've also made some major contributions to young players like Alex Morgan. The duo are two of the best young players around at the moment. "It is hard to pick from among the many young players out there and say that we are top five but that is certainly why I feel that this club is top five because we have played so well together so far," said Sinclair.
